Never heard of these guys until they were mentioned on here. Looks like they are chasing today
Val and Amy have only been chasing for 30+ years, lol.

I did notice even in his famous 5/3/99 chase video (where he sets the world record for the word Gary being said in 5 minutes) he was all over the place driving wise.Yeah. Val is mentioned as chasing for KWTV as early as 1994 (when I was 8) in Gary England's book Weathering the Storm: Tornadoes, Television and Turmoil. I used to respect him until I heard about how he drives.

Yea.... He almost smoked a couple cops as far back as May 3rd, 99 when they bothered to slow down in front of him...Yeah. While I don’t follow the chaser community, I’ve never heard the controversy regarding Val. In fact, he has always been held in a high status with those I’ve spoken with.Val is one of the most controversial chasers I can think of; almost ran over a group of chasers not too long ago and almost died in the El Reno tornado. I personally stick with the “YouTube” storm chasers (Copic, McKinney, Timmer); I couldn’t fathom watching a dumb storm chaser die on-stream.
His driving’s really the issue; to be fair El Reno caught a ton of experienced people off guard. Besides maybe Timmer running red lights and whatever the heck he feels inclined to do, I rarely hear of other chasers nearly running each other over. While I don’t follow the chaser community, I’ve never heard the controversy regarding Val. What’s this from? Is it WeatherWise?…here we can see the chasers migrating in their natural habitat…

RadarOmega, I think I have storm spotter location history on. You know an event might be big when there’s hundreds of green dots that end up making a big storm chaser blob around a certain area. What’s this from? Is it WeatherWise?
