Severe Weather 2023

Yeah it does have rotation but nothing concerning.

2015 Fall Tornado Season:

October 2015: 40 tornadoes.
November 2015: 98 tornadoes.
December 2015: 83 tornadoes.

A total of 221 tornadoes.

AL: 6 tornadoes in December 2015 (None in October or November)
MS: 4 in October 2015, 13 in November 2015, and 6 in December 2015

I think BMX should at least put a special weather statement on this storm in Randolph county. I’m under it and the wind is pretty stout. They currently don’t have anything warning how strong it is at the moment.

I saw a few dead trees knocked down, a healthy estimated 4 inch pine branch snapped, trash cans and lawn furniture displaced. A few local businesses on Main Street had their flower pots and fall decorations blown over. I’m curious, does it bother you when the NWS doesn’t put out SWS? I feel like BMX is the worst at not using it. I hope they can better use that product in the future.

Have you met FFC? lol

For the ones interested in severe weather and SPC, I would highly recommend listening and/or watching last week's WeatherBrains episode. Some very interesting and exciting stuff is being worked on internally at SPC and they share some of that in this episode.

The last sentence in this morning's SPC Day 4-8 Outlook is very interesting.....

The 18z GFS shows some semblance of a neutral to slightly negative tilt trough around late month.
