Interesting how the last several fall seasons have been pretty quiet, and this fall looks like it's on track to follow the same. We haven't had what I would consider a major severe weather event in the fall season since 2015, and if this pattern keeps up for much longer we'll be overdue.

The season isn't over. Some of the scariest severe weather I remember in Mississippi was in late November.

Less than 2% probs for tornado, and not even a marginal outline anywhere. The guys at the SPC have to be scratching their head watching this storm

Supercell SW of Fort Walton Beach likely has a nice tornado down. Fortunately it’s over the GOM

The key will be the pattern before hand. It looks quite suppressed leading up to early next week’s system. Might stunt moisture return...
