Severe Threat May 15-16, 2025

That was horrible timing, strengthening over one of the more populous areas of the city, passing over Clayton, University City and Richmond Heights. Hoping damage is minor.

Has eastern Kentucky ever had a higher end tornado outbreak? Maybe the Wheelersburg event?
I was about to mention a few that have hit Madison county (I believe an EF3 in '09 and a F4 during the Super Outbreak), but Madison might technically be more "Central KY"...even though it's the home of Eastern KY University, lol. My little county (Estill) is next door, so we are "East-Central". I think we got an F2 once. I feel like this area is due eventually.

Yeah this was legit horrible timing. This was the rotation right as the warning was issued, clearly broad (but still spinning), and then within TWO scans it drops this couplet.
