It's possible that there weren't fatalities. IIRC the Little Rock EF3 in 2023 didn't have any.Alright while I understand its a huge area, lets not assume casualities unless its confirmed via dispatch that there's injuries/casualities.
I was about to mention a few that have hit Madison county (I believe an EF3 in '09 and a F4 during the Super Outbreak), but Madison might technically be more "Central KY"...even though it's the home of Eastern KY University, lol. My little county (Estill) is next door, so we are "East-Central". I think we got an F2 once. I feel like this area is due eventually.Has eastern Kentucky ever had a higher end tornado outbreak? Maybe the Wheelersburg event?
That's radar clutter I thinkTDS near Des Arc, Missouri. Could be strong aswell.
Confirmed on the ground. That's radar clutter I think
I don't think it's radar clutter, it's co-located with high reflectivity and a decent couplet. It is confirmed by law enforcement though, so we do definitely have a tornado regardless of whether it's a TDS or notThat's radar clutter I think
Not just the suburbs but I'm pretty sure it also went through downtown. Caught everyone off guard.I did not expect to come back and see a damaging tornado in the St. Louis suburbs!
Hope damage is minor and everyone is okay.
That was horrible timing, strengthening over one of the more populous areas of the city, passing over Clayton, University City and Richmond Heights. Hoping damage is minor.
