That one came dangerously close to Yellow Springs; my favorite small town in Ohio.Tornado down just north of Xenia ohio
I go up there to hike frequently. Gorgeous place. It seems the Miami Valley is really working its magic on these storms this morning, unfortunately. That one came dangerously close to Yellow Springs; my favorite small town in Ohio.
Looks like a reflectivity debris ball there. I don’t think I’ve seen one in OH since Memorial Day 2019.Major tornado near Jersey, OH a few moments ago. Not often do you see terminal radars depict such a clear debris ball of reflectivity. Not good…

I gotta say, TCMH was invaluable during this event. Without it, Columbus would be smack dab in the middle of a horrid radar hole and we wouldn't have gotten such great data of the Jersey tornado, among others.Looks like a reflectivity debris ball there. I don’t think I’ve seen one in OH since Memorial Day 2019.
That's awesome. Storm chasing without even storm chasing with that doorbell cam lolDoorbell can grab of the West Jefferson, OH tornado.

Yeah I used to live right by the base. This is the second tornado to touch down there. The 2019 Beavercreek EF3 actually touched down on base property, but didn’t start destroying structures until it entered nearby housing. One of my brothers-in-law is in the Air Force and was stationed there when my wife and I went to his last promotion in January, 2020, shortly before the COVID lockdowns hit.
