Funny story, where I work there used to be a meteorologist named A.J. Waterman working there. On June 22, 2016 one of my other then-colleagues went chasing with him (I chased with a different group, we saw a couple of nice wall clouds but missed all the brief tornadoes our storm produced) and they ended up near Waterman, my colleague said A.J. was flipping out about that and the fact that they were within like 10 miles of a tornado-warned supercell.

FWIW, my workplace is just off a street called Waterman.
