After the last day and a half and what's still occurring (and going to continue via extreme river flooding along the MS)... I feel like it's some sort of alternate disaster world in the South right now almost.

8 CONFIRMED fatalities in Mississippi by the NWS.

All these forums could use some more MS posters. Always seems to get ignored.

Looks like they're back. Just issued SVS's for the Marengo TOR.

Just looked at tv...radar from local on the 8's TWC appears to show the storms south of Anniston down toward Montgomery taking on a liner shape....anyone with experience care to confirm/refute? Hoping we go linear soon and reduce this tornado threat....any idea when it will happen?

Looks like the couplet in Cullman is going to go real close to where the tor went earlier today
~150kt of shear with the Talledega cell.
I know we have posters from the Carrolton/LaGrange Ga areas. Watch the cell to the N of Montgomery.

According to James Spann, 25 confirmed dead in Alabama right now from tornados...Unfortunately, that number will probably go up

22 where? The death toll is already over 22 from the outbreak/flooding.

That storm that pushed through Gasden/Rome is officially moving my direction. Not good. Outside it feels eerie. Very eerie.

I think its going to break into 2 supercells. The southern one headed just north of La Grange and toward the FFC radar site. The northern headed toward Carrolton. There may even be a farther north one heading toward Heflin Al right
