WAFF 48's radar dome and dish are gone. So is the church that sat next to it. The only thing left is the tower.

Oh man...I drive by that everyday on the way to work from Madison to Athens. I'm afraid to get out in the morning and see what it is going to be like.

Thinking they may pulse a bit... We haven't had any rain to stabilize the atmosphere since this AM here in GA... Good chance they'll pulse back up soon.

We didn't have any up here. At all. And they are now. Taking the track of the last two frames off NEXRAD the Gasden storm is headed right for my backdoor. Doubt it maintains that track though. Will probably shift back NE.

This should all go linear later tonight as the dry line/pre frontal trough catches up and eventually at some point start to relax and die down a little. By the time it gets to us...7-10 am tomorrow it should be a shell of what we see now. We have to be worried about what occurs between the clearance of that area and the cold front arrival in the mid to late aftn.

No doubt this Tuscaloosa-Birmingham tornado and on to the Northeast may be the greatest tornado horror of modern times.

Looks like that cell in Cherokee County may be pumping out 3" diameter hail via radar estimates.

I feel like everytime I hear Spann mention a city name or I read a warning all of the cities included are where we have board members from, its such a helpless feeling, I hope everyone on the board makes it through ok.

Oh no its still a good hour-hour and a half away. The NEXRAD track just keeps taking it further south. Waiting to see if that plays out.

Seeking opinions here...Troy and Goshen in Pike County are on the edge of the watch and non the Mesoscale Discussion...all of the storms are moving north of us thusfar. Will the threat be less down this way? I feel that it will, but would love to hear second opinions...
