Power is out here and has been for some time. I am posting from my iPhone. I am hearing reports out of Tuscaloosa. One friend said..."it looks like what came through here was at least a mile wide".

The tornado in Bibb county AL, going north of Centerville is headed very close to the KBMX radar and even if not directly hit we may lose the radar soon.

Remember when tornadoes on tower cams were rare events? We've seen three today at least.

I'm about 1 1/2 miles SW of the NWS office in Calera. Currently heavy rain with pretty much steady lightning.

WAFF 48's radar dome and dish are gone. So is the church that sat next to it. The only thing left is the tower.
