HRRR last night nailed this...

What, the exact location of the supercells? I know they show them on their radar, but I never trusted the exact locations of them. If that's to be believed, then HRRR from 16z was showing a huge supercell with a tornado over Shelby County by 8 PM CDT.

This is still a tornado emergency for Marshall, Jackson and southeast Madison County.

This happened one time before and I think it is the forecaster. Well whoever it is they suck (no offense to NWS employees intended).

New subject matter: anybody got any ideas on when North GA will go under a tornado watch? Doubt it will be PDS but its possible, especially with the hatched area now covering nearly half the state.

I think N GA will get a PDS...probably sometime after 6pm...

This has already been a terrible day, but looks to get so much worse now. Look at all the storms forming in MS working into Alabama.

I have never seen a straight line wind event like this morning. I was on 20/59 at Malfunction Junction when it came through, and was scared to death. I don't get like that often.

Hearing reports of numerous trees/lines down in Florence... again. Lots of roads blocked.

Hey guys, I am copying and pasting what some of you are posting to my facebook account to help keep people informed of the danger. Is it OK for me to do that? If not, I will stop. I tell people about this site and the great information all of you post, but some people just won't take the time to visit it, even on a day like today.

Can anyone tell me where I can see live coverage of weather in the Huntsville area?
