Hooks everywhere:

this is stunning because it looks almost exactly like the NWS graphics on the BMX page with all those images of hooks!

FFC's AFD is terrible. NO mention of severe AT ALL!
Also, new SPC outlook is out. They expanded the hatched area for tornadoes as well as the 15% to include a good portion of the Atlanta Metro.

I hope that Hamilton County storm falls apart before reaching Huntsville.

Good luck, but you probably won't be able to get there. Stay out of the way if there's any EMS around.

I couldn't agree more with you! No discussion at all on timing, storms, etc... I don't understand.

That storm that went through Cullman has dropped for a direct hit on Hulaco, AL. A few miles west of Joppa (Sound familiar?).

Extensive damage there being reported by Morgan County Emergency Management...including, but not limited to trees down, homes completely leveled and the like.

UPDATE: Major damage reported at Hulaco Road. Houses there have been directly hit.

This happened one time before and I think it is the forecaster. Well whoever it is they suck (no offense to NWS employees intended).

New subject matter: anybody got any ideas on when North GA will go under a tornado watch? Doubt it will be PDS but its possible, especially with the hatched area now covering nearly half the state.
