True, i am a bit skeptic too but the fact it favorably latched in a boundary and then proceeded to strengthen its couplet makes me think something was going on. The hook wrapped BIG TIME too around. There's no way to know but the processes leading up to it make it pretty fair why a tornado mightve happened

Honestly one of the storms out there could try to produce a sigtor. Right now the Cherry County cell has pretty good rotation and I doubt that the environment will deteriorate fast enough to cave it in.

The MCS that started over Chicago this morning has weakened over the mountains of eastern Tennessee. We will have to see if this system gets classified as a Derecho.

Southward-moving severe warned storm in central WI, well north of the marginal risk contour. We'll see how long it holds together.
