Honestly one of the storms out there could try to produce a sigtor. Right now the Cherry County cell has pretty good rotation and I doubt that the environment will deteriorate fast enough to cave it in.

Yeah, serious issue in the Mid Atlantic. They get too trigger happy and decide to warn these storms for no reason despite them not having rotation. Making a city panic unnecessarily is not something a NWS office wants to do. It's in my opinion, negligence to do such. There's no excuses when this has been a consistent pattern of warning outflow dominant QLCSes and it seems this office doesn't even check terminals half the time. It's extremely odd.

Despite my statement, i will give credit to NWS Baltimore. A EF0 tornado was indeed confirmed in Baltimore. Professional meteorologists are trying to back down and call it dust and etc but I'll take responsibility and take back my comments regarding negligence. The warning was well suited despite initial thinking. My apologies to that office and for being so assuming. This office has had a history of unnecessary warnings though so it felt fair to give criticism. They were right this time, and i find this whole situation is showing the real egoists of the community.

Evan Fryberger suggested since he "covers the most tornado warnings" to a NWS Wakefield meteorologist that he's a expert on the topic. Brad Arnold seemed to use the office having a lack of tornado warnings to prove that this meteorologist shouldn't be talking. Mike Smith, the guy who likes always bagging on the NWS for tornado warnings and claims another Joplin will happen again also defended him. Max Velocity backed down calling a obvious QLCS tornado "dust" and Evan did too.

Absolutely astonishing incompetence, from all of these people. How have we allowed these chasers to become so called authorities, and give them a unbudgeable ego? A person coverings tornado warnings is not the same as sitting on a desk and considering multiple different factors to ISSUE a tornado warning. Being from a office that doesn't experience tornado warnings so often doesn't mean they don't have authority on the subject.

By the way, Brad's the same guy who said QLCS tors shouldn't be warned and then over 25+ tkrs were confirmed alone from that outbreak in February. He talks a lot of excrement. Max Velocity? This is disappointing. You're supposed to be helpful to these offices. You have the 2nd biggest following platform next to Ryan and you choose to mock a NWS office on Twitter and then back down when presented genuine evidence of the warning verifying.

And he talks down to female meteorologists making them less qualified because their office doesn't experience a high percentage of TOR-Ws. He's laughable.
