This is my hometown! The local meteorologists were covering it well, even before it dropped.

Looks like Augusta, GA is getting hit hard now. It's too bad their weather observations don't update as much as those on the West Coast.

Ran into the core of the storm between Tiny Town and Carlton. I don't know what I saw, but I hadn't seen it before I didn't feel anything, but it was suddenly about a 10-15 whiteout or something. I checked the CC values and didn't see anything suspicious but the area is between FFC and GSP radar's. I am not sure if it was a tornado or anything. Will be back in the area tomorrow morning, but doubt it was a tornado of significence.

Augusta only got 0.66" out of it. Arizona can get more than that from monsoon thunderstorms in the summer, but they rarely get tornadoes.

This same cell had come right near my house a bit before this. TIL that I have a bad seal on my door as I heard a whistle for the first time in recent memory. Thankfully not much damage to the area, a few power lines down though.

Wow!!! It may get close to or exceed March 2022 which had 234 tornadoes.

An EF-0 has been confirmed in Coweta County, in addition to an EF-1 in Henry County.

Second tornado confirmed from Monday's storms | Coweta County EF-0

The tornado was on the ground for just under 5 miles.
