Severe WX Severe Threat 27-28 March 2021

Going to get a very good view on that cell approaching Franklin from the TBNA radar as well, it is going to track very close to the radar.

Despite looking like it could produce at any moment NWS Nashville decided to reissue SVR on this cell. Didn't even put a "TOR POSSIBLE" tag... Unbelieveable

Looks like things are growing upscale and going linear. The outlook did mention that there would be a QLCS tornado threat though.

A bit concerned on the last few velocity scans from TBNA, you can see a clear swirl and it's only 400 feet off the ground. No very high returns though.

This is amazing.

Seems like it's not going to produce. Been awhile since I've seen one get SO close and just keep barely pulling back.

Back to MS storms I guess. Score 1 for BNA and nerves of steel.

Ballsy or stupid call but BNA on that storm, I'm not sure, but certainly glad it appears to never have produced. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a small spinup somewhere along the path, but thankfully it was nothing more.

Can someone give me some info! We are under a tornado warning in Pinson to (south Madison county). Our news station doesn’t know what the heck they are doing! Where is it?

Sorry, BNA, yes. I will say the SPC mesoanalysis for the environment in front of the storm was showing very minimal STP and helicity.

This QLCS is going to be nasty and a major producer of spin-ups I think.
