Am honestly concerned about how convection seems to be getting *more* discrete.Today hasn't been as prolific as 3/17 yet but certainly has verified in the strong long tracked tornado department. If convective mode had been less sloppy and we had multiple cells like the Birmingham one, it'd have been apocalyptic. Definitely a high risk day.
The low-level wind shear is increasing so conditions are more favorable for discrete storms than they were back in central Mississippi, where the low-level winds stayed more veered.Am honestly concerned about how convection seems to be getting *more* discrete.
