Storm east of Columbus, MS is taking on supercellular characteristics.

That Madison cell had a nice funnel around 1pm, watched it track across the county from the south in Madison

Really hoping for a nice widespread rainfall in Tuscaloosa from this system. After a pretty wet May being capped off by Alberto, we've managed just under 1" through 3 weeks of June. Storms have missed us in all directions for the past week...

Big ole goose egg on the day. We may get a trace before midnight....boy, how frustrating seeing it all going around. You can see how Tuscaloosa Co, particularly the southern half, has only seen about 0.5-1" in the last 2 weeks. It's approaching one month since our last day with at least 1" of rain.

was located 8 miles east of Sardis, or 9 miles northwest of
Cullman, moving east at 20 mph.

was located near Strawberry, or 7 miles north of Blountsville,
moving east at 35 mph. This storm has a history of producing a
tornado.
