Social Media has gotten so toxic, I’ve started checking out physical books at my local library to read instead. I hear that analog is starting to make a comeback with things like books, landlines, and DVDs.

I've been accepted into one of the two colleges I'm planning on attending so I'm officially on the broadcast meteorology path.

Also, on this - my specific intent with this degree is to go into markets that are particularly tornado prone (ABC33/40, KFOR, KAKE, WSES, KSNB-TV) and help out there because those are the areas where people need it most (Kansas and Oklahoma have high elderly populations and Alabama is Alabama).
So, who knows, maybe you'll see me on a TikTok "meteorologist reacts to tornado hitting town" video or something in four years. Not like I'd want that to happen, of course.
With the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart (huge fan of Star Trek and TNG), Star Trek missed a golden opportunity for a movie with all 5 Captains. My synopsis for the movie would be like all 5 captains and their crew are trapped in the Q continuum/multiverse with each group having to figure out how to work with each other to escape with a big battle at the end. For those who played Star Trek: Encounters on PS2, I imagine the big battle like the final mission called Against All Odds.
