Forum software update had the site down temporarily last nigh
@ghost did the issue clear up? There was a short period that the site was online but did not have the configuration complete for talking to our remote server we use for graphics.

In this current environment, I would not have “walked these two inside,” I would shoo them the heck far away from me...you can’t make this stuff up

Those in Huntsville are now expecting an Internet outage as Panoply goes virtual.

For those not in the know, Panoply has funny habit of almost always having a severe weather disruption

Nice.

I used to be big on checking al.com. I can’t stomach going on there now. I’ve tried to go to Yellowhammer but there format sucks (site layout) and they swing the other way a little over the top some so am not satisfied with them really...

Kind of in a lurch to find a go to landing for state of Alabama news and sports....

Nothing is as miserable as USA Today-affiliated newspaper sites. Between the fact that 2/3 of the screen space is devoted to ads and the actual web design is straight out of 1995, it's just unreadable. The fact that they have the nerve to paywall them just makes it all the more laughable.

al.com used to be tolerable as long as you didn't read the comments, but now they just employ too many writers whose main purpose is to troll rather than write good content (coughScarbinskycough).

Love this photo from Vegas today. The Thunderbirds did a huge flyby of all of Las Vegas today. This photo is pretty cool for a few reasons.. first the Thunderbirds being the Thunderbirds, awesome shot of Luxor and those 737's parked are the commuter planes for Area 51 (Janet is their callsign)
