Norman is getting pounded with large hail for at least the second time this year (and keep in mind the amount of damage done on April 28th earlier this year...).

If TWC has issued a 7 TorCon why arent they covering the outbreak instead of airing "Ice Pilots"?
This is true Weather Channel mindset. More than once through the years people have been literally dying in a tornadic storm (verified post-event) while TWC broadcasted reruns of shows such as “Ice Pilots”. and the like. I have angrily emailed them about this but no response. They prefer to fiddle while proverbial Rome burns .

Yeah I had to replace the roof and the hood, top, and a quarter panel on the wife's car. Saying that date is a bad word around here after I found that home insurance in this area has lesser coverage than comparable places because of our frequency for severe and large hailstorms.

Lasted about two more scans then dissipated. Despite implications of HRRR prognostications (phat, unbroken purple UH streaks), these have not been long-track tornadoes today.
The cap didn't erode fast enough to accomodate the supercellular storms and they quickly evolved into a QLCS. No surprise as QLCS tornadoes tend to be weak and short lived. Always seems like something falls apart at the last moment to prevent a major tornado outbreak.

I initially thought the GFS model was underestimating today's tornado potential but I think it hit the nail on the head this time even when most of the other models showed the potential for a major tornado outbreak. Still thinking Tuesday will be more prevalent for tornadoes, but would not be surprised if that event falls apart too.
