Unless that inversion lids things off - or it could only let the worst of the worst fire offI'm afraid your gunna have multiple violent tornadoes today. I really don't like the look of the northern extent of the event or the mid south one..
A lot more anxiety with this one than the missippi one a week ago.
Norman at 12z gives an idea of what kind of airmass is upstream from the MDT area and waiting to be transported that way. Impressive mid-level lapse rates, deep moist layer, very strong low-level shear already.
