Had a tornado warning near Oak Island NC probably a couple of hours ago. I was just getting up getting ready for work didn't have time for any screen grabs. Did look like a decent couplet for a couple of scans though would be surprised if something didn't at least briefly touch down.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is significant damage near Shorter, AL. Anyone else find it crazy how the most significant tornadoes from this event were from the initial morning cells, and the late night stragglers after the "main" event?

Edit: Report of damage to a commercial building in the Milstead community near Highway 229 and the railroad tracks, and I would assume this means that the Auburn University EV Smith Research Center has been hit. Another person is reporting that a building is demolished, but there are no injuries.

Saw some screen grabs of the couplet on Twitter, and it looked pretty close to where the February 15, 2021 Sunset Beach, NC EF3 occurred. Was there a CC drop?
