NAM is coming in considerably south of previous runs. The high is pressing down. Warm nose still spread across Alabama though

Look at Alabama. That is really crazy to look at the warm nose.Yeah, pretty noticeable trend here. Most of Alabama still firmly above freezing, but much of the northern half of Georgia is covered by CAD.

It sure looks like itThe CAD is so strong, the warm nose is pressing WNW.
*mutters* I just wanted snow, I just wanted some snow. It's funny - y'all over in GA are talking about never underestimate the CAD because you've been burned, while we're over here in AL saying never underestimate the warm nose, because it's killed our chances so many times.
This could still FCAD either way, but the evidence of the moment is certainly in favor of team cold.
And we'll be having the opposite conversation during severe season lol!! CAD is really kind of a neat mystery of weather although I'm sure it makes forecasting a complete nightmare. It's funny - y'all over in GA are talking about never underestimate the CAD because you've been burned, while we're over here in AL saying never underestimate the warm nose, because it's killed our chances so many times.

Maybe next Saturday will grant our snow wishes*mutters* I just wanted snow, I just wanted some snow.
I would happily concede the battle to you and keep my lights on, but unfortunately that HP trending stronger and stronger is going to make this wedge a monster. It's funny - y'all over in GA are talking about never underestimate the CAD because you've been burned, while we're over here in AL saying never underestimate the warm nose, because it's killed our chances so many times.

Yeah, a 1050 doesn't play. Ever.I would happily concede the battle to you and keep my lights on, but unfortunately that HP trending stronger and stronger is going to make this wedge a monster.
Anyone who lets milk spoil after a winter storm doesn't have much walking around sense, IMO. Put it outside.Something I don't understand is why so many people are buying milk and eggs before an event that's supposed to knock out power for a week. Make sure to stock up on the smelliest possible items when spoiled!
Who do you think wins out in the state of TN? I’m just curious your thoughts?Yeah, a 1050 doesn't play. Ever.
Y'all know the feeling the day before a big boxing match, when both the fighters look unbeatable, and you realize it's going to be a monster of a fight?
Yeah... That.
It's also showing 2 inches of freezing rain in Memphis lol, I wonder why the GFS and NAM are showing so much sleet compared to the other models.NAM is coming in considerably south of previous runs. The high is pressing down. Warm nose still spread across Alabama though
