Wow! Reported wind gust from Port Fourchon the landfall point of 172! Lots of over 130-150mph wind gust reports in Lafourche and Lower Jefferson.

Looks like another confirmed tornado in Pike County, AL, just east of Troy.

So far it doesn’t look like Ida has produced a lot of tornadoes, which is good news.

The SPC has highlighted a 10% tornado area over parts of the Mid Atlantic in the D2 outlook. Quote "Several tornadoes and scattered damaging winds appear probable across parts of the Mid-Atlantic" in association with Ida's remnants.

High risk of excessive rainfall tomorrow for a heavily populated segment of the northeast. Looks like it includes Philadelphia and the NY/NJ metro area. Moderate risk includes DC, Baltimore, and Boston. A lot of this area is already saturated after a few weeks of heavy rain (including TS Henri in the northeast).
