Worst of all, these conspiracies are reaching large audiences. Normally, I'd just brush them off as a couple of crazy people, but what they are spreading is a dangerous rhetoric that has hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of views on social media.

Please, if you know anybody spreading these theories or come across one on your social media, please try your best to combat the spread of misinformation. You could save lives of people who were previously not just uninformed, but misinformed.

This reminded me that I wrote a blog post on HAARP back when I first heard about it, so I just checked.. it was 13 years ago! That was back when it was a weird fringe theory, and since then, instead of disappearing it's become practically mainstream. Jesus, that's demoralizing.

(Sorry for further derailing the discussion y'all, just incredibly frustrating.)

He's been posting garbage for a while now in an attempt to smugly make a dumb point and pat himself on the back, as most of those types do.

Anywho, Milton looks (unfortunately) very healthy again this afternoon. Return to C5 by this evening wouldn't surprise me.
 
Last call for FL west coasters to evacuate. Thankfully, it seems like there were a ton of people who left yesterday form the greater Tampa area. Roads are mostly wide open this afternoon, so any FL folks on this board in the path who haven't left yet, please do so as soon as possible; if watching this monster in the Gulf isn't a good argument for leaving, I don't know what is.
