With Milton having been a major for a few days now, we are up to 13 \ 9 \ 4 now.

Just last week, there was a woman in my local hair salon talking about how the sky has changed and started on chemtrails. It took everything in my soul not to get involved. It's just disgusting

Just one thing, if the earth is flat; how would hurricanes happen? A flat Earth isn't a globe. That's also another thing that I think about.

There are degrees to conspiracy theories. Saying the earth is flat, although very stupid, is pretty much harmless.

Saying hurricanes are controlled by the government to wipe out certain targeted areas is both stupid and dangerous.

We tried to control hurricanes once, didn't work so well. There's no way the government controls hurricanes.

But anyway...

Milton still appears to be reorganizing.

I use to have respect for Ryan but this season he's been discounting nearly every impactful hurricane. He continually stated in his newsletter that Milton wouldn't form or would have a hard time developing.

To be fair, I initially thought what is now Milton would be a sheared, weak mess of a TS. I was not expecting a very strong Cat 5, which seems to be going for a second peak for Cat 5.

Models did kinda flip flop before settling on Florida as the eventual direction and landfall location.

That’s the funniest part to me, we did actual experiments with this and have published data showing it doesn’t work, but you can’t reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into I guess
