Those mini supercells quickly wrapping up, dropping a tornado, and collapsing SE of Jackson, MS are really well illustrated by the 00z sounding; very impressive low level profile below 2km on the hodo (300+ m2s2 and 40kt of bulk shear seems fine for small shallow supercells) then a significant weakness between about 2km and 5km; certainly letting shallow mesos spin up quickly and easily drop a tornado but the weakness in the midlevel flow is just not allowing any meso to sustain very long in the crowded messy environment. Dropping to under 30kt up there is just not going to help sustain a well developed deep meso
