It's eerie how these events parallel each other over the years...storms of interest today (obviously they're nothing like that in terms of violence, let's hope it stays that way) have been in essentially the same spots as the two major players for west-central/central Alabama on 4/27/11...Pickens to northern Tuscaloosa to Walker, and Greene to southern Tuscaloosa.

Not as large/bright as the first one, but has persisted for 3 scans now. Definitely a tornado occurred/is occurring.

Why does Tuscaloosa always have to have one or two big storms roll through every event?

Really looks like this thing is getting ready to produce if it hasn't already. I do think the CC was just noise because we'd have ground reports quickly if it was accurate.
