The good news is that's basically the middle of nowhere so I'd be surprised if it hit much other than trees. Would've been a big problem if it were a few miles further north/west.

Today they are replacing several poles on south mooresville road. South of the new Toyota intersection. I did not drive down there to check it out.Looks like some rotation might be occurring south of Athens, Alabama.

So, there was a convoy of us heading north on I-16 back from vacation and we got a little too close to the southern edge of the circulation as it crossed and snapped a few trees. National Weather Service confirms 6 EF-1 tornadoes touched down in north Alabama, southern Tennessee
