Hopefully the CBS affiliates in Alabama have a plan in place in case a tornado warning is issued for a county in their market during the Final Four. Auburn plays just after 5 PM Central Time this evening.

Yeah seems like they got the high risk right earlier this week but the last two days have been right on the edge. I don’t envy them days like today.

70/50 probs on the watch. Honestly a bit higher than I thought it would be.

Thankfully it seems like today should be the last day where we have any significant severe weather and looks like we will have a much needed break from it.

Tomorrow seems to be just a standard severe risk but I’m fully expecting to wake up to a 10% hatched TOR risk cause that always seems to happen

Wow, pretty high probs on that watch! I'll just say the SPC has done a fantastic job this week with a really awkward, bizarre and complicated setup! The models (including mine) have struggled at times, but the SPC has done very well all things considered.


On that note, I'm running my model for today and tomorrow now. Results coming in a few hours probably. I suspect today could have some fireworks, but tomorrow looks to be more muted just looking at the models and forecast...but never count Dixie out.
