Are those supercells firing off west and south west of Montgomery? That might be bad news because that area is pretty much untapped.

Those don’t seem to be rotating.

Also, nice hook on that mini supercell in South Carolina.

Saw that. No warning on it, but also no TDS. I don’t think anything touched down.

BMX just issued a tornado warning for Cherokee Co.

There was a popular TV meteorologist here in Atlanta that basically said today would be like 4/27. The problem is that sets the bar so high as that is literally the gold standard of all time as far as outbreaks go. He also sets himself up for criticism if the system underperforms. I think the two super outbreaks should stay in a separate category from even "standard" high risk days. Tonight is a reminder to me that everything has to fall into place perfectly for those rare outbreaks, and it was unwise for him to imply this would be as severe as 4/27.

Ooltewah tornado might be weakening a bit, but clearly significant damage has been done to a very populated area.

I saw 160mph with L3 data. That was co-located directly over the Ponderosa Pines mobile home park so gonna have to hope that there was some tilt with the storm there.
