GWX is up, BMX is down today. MXX is currently hitting the mesocyclone of the severe-warned cell at about 12,000' up.

Every Alabama resident covered by the KBMX radar should be calling their Senator and House Rep to tell them to do their jobs and properly fund the NWS. KBMX is likely to be out this entire event. Blood will be on the hands of the Congress for refusing to DO THEIR JOBS if people are injured or killed due to missed or delayed warnings. Enough is enough.
I guess we are relying on storm spotters for today's storms in Alabama? What a bummer. Obviously can tell the supercell has a meso cyclone but no way to tell what it looks like closer to the surface with the outage.

Brad Arnold saw a wall cloud in the Demopolis storm.
Tornado Watch for much of Alabama now. 60/40 probs on this one as well.
Kudos to Brad and the guys chasing central Alabama today, they'll be the major asset in today's strong tornado threat, hope everybody stays safe that's chasing that's members of this thread
