More details

For Ukraine nearly $183 billion was spent so far.

This was after Biden spent a whole lot of money on other progressive causes.

$1.9 trillion in additional spending for COVID relief after Trump already laid down a lot of money for COVID relief
$1.1 trillion for “infrastructure”, which used to mean projects like roads, bridges, and airports, but now includes giveaways like electric car charging stations for Tesla owners
$3.5 trillion in spending on the table for a whole slew of goodies: free child-care, free community college, student loan forgiveness, expanded Medicare and Medicaid, vast subsidies for “green” technology, and on and on

That's more money (adjusted for inflation) than we spent on the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Louisiana Purchase, the Transcontinental Railroad, the Interstate highway system, and the Moon Landing combined.

But the left says they’re spending all this money with the best of intentions: the trillions are needed to end hunger and reduce inequality; provide everyone with free health care; and save the planet from global warming.

However as they say "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" and "Socialism works fine until the government runs out of other people's money".

You want to speak to "infrastructure" spending? Speak to the fact that Trump has proposed a $500,000,000,000 investment in "AI infrastructure", as our physical infrastructure crumbles.

You think Tesla subsidies are going away? Absolutely laughable.

Musk has already rug pulled a $2.4B FAA contract from Verizon, in favor of Starlink. He's also after the $42B in NTIA BEAD funding meant to connect rural America and provide local construction jobs - he'll likely get it.

Who do you think stands to benefit from all of this?

You're also very conveniently glossing over the fact that the total amount you're complaining about is $1,400,000,000,000 less than the amount of DEBT added by Trump in 2016-2020.

My mistake, but in WW II Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and that's why we got involved. We did fight against Nazi Germany and Nazism is simply national socialism. It was a different variety of socialism than Karl Marx created, but just like Marxism it's based on identity politics and it shares some other ideas with Marxism. In Nazism Jews were the enemy and in Marxism the bourgeoisie are the enemy. In Wokeism, also inspired by Marxism, the bourgeoisie are White people, males, heterosexuals, cisgender, conservatives, etc.

We actually did fight in the Korean War though to end communism in South Korea and we also fought in the Vietnam War in attempt to end communism there, but lost. There were also some US troops that fought communism in China.

We sent a lot more money to Ukraine over a short time than we did during the Cold War and at that time our national debt was not so high. This was after already running up the debt by trillions of dollars for a lot of Biden programs after the pandemic that did not really help people. Hurricanes and fires are a much bigger threat to us than Putin today and FEMA ran out of money because it was mostly sent to help illegal immigrants, Ukraine and for other progressive causes. FEMA also refused to help people with Trump signs after the hurricane.
Let me share a controversial opinion on the Ukraine war: was Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine an overreaction, to put it very lightly? Yes. I don’t condone Russia’s military action against its neighbor. But at the end of the day, if Russia and Ukraine want to fight, let them. I don’t want my tax dollars funding military equipment for either side of the war, plain and simple. If I want to have my tax dollars involved in the conflict in any way, I want it to go to humanitarian aid. That’s fine.

Unpopular opinion #2: I’m actually okay with the idea of lifting some sanctions against Russia. Lift whatever sanctions are preventing me from going on eBay and buying stuff from Russian sellers. The Russian government’s decision to invade its neighbor is not the fault of 78 year old Shurik barely getting by selling nicknacks from his rotting Brezhnevka apartment. And if lifting sanctions on Russian oil exports is necessary to bring down fuel prices, so be it!

I have to commend Zelensky for his most recent statement though. It is indeed regrettable that his meeting with Trump went the way it did, and I give the Ukrainian people my most heartfelt wishes for lasting peace in the region.

And I might as well add that Dmitry Medvedev’s tweets sure are something… he reminds me of my grandpa, the type of guy who just says whatever comes to his mind.

My mom is Czech and someone who lives in the Czech Republic sent a video that shows the Ukrainians partying in their ski resorts. It appears most of the money is not being used to help with the war.

My mother is in a hospital right now. Ergo, I am available for anyone who needs medical advice or emergency brain surgery.

It's not our government's role to take care of the whole world and bankrupt our own country. There's a reason FEMA ran out of supplies.

If you want to help people in impoverished nations, donate your own money to charity.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say the government is supposed to provide for the poor. It's all up to individuals. In extreme cases it leads to socialist hellholes like Venezuela where everyone is equally miserable and lined up for food.

Yes you gotta feel sorry for the people who will be losing their aid, but that's the problem with rights that come from the government.

You didn't answer the question. You regurgitated a bunch of barely tangential and factually-challenged talking points.

Why the link to World Vision? I've donated thousands of dollars to them. It's the main charity I support. What's your point?

Finally, I don't think a discussion of biblical hermeneutics would go well for you. Suggest we avoid it.

This is Jim Jones redux.

Where do you get those numbers? According to this website the debt increased by $7,372 billion in 2016-2020 and $8,519 billion in 2020-2024

2016-2020: $26,945-$19,553 = $7,372
2020-2024: $35,464-$26,945 = $8,519

The NOAA instructed Di Liberto to spend over $3 million creating the animated series Teek and Tom Explore Planet Earth. The series aims to teach children about weather and climate. The cartoon's characters include Teek, played by Di Liberto. Teek is an androgynous extraterrestrial who uses the pronouns “they/them” and “gender-neutral.”

It also says

Nearly 800 NOAA employees have been laid off as DOGE targets wasteful spending and fraud within government agencies. However, key personnel, such as National Weather Service meteorologists, were exempt from the cuts due to their critical roles.

Go back and recalculate...
Trump's numbers should be calculated for the 4 year period 2017-2020.
Biden's numbers should be calculated for the 4 year period 2021-2024

Was this the question:

Is it Pro-Life to sharply reduce or eliminate funding for TB, malaria, polio, PEPFAR, infant nutrition, and a sundry of other aide that goes to impoverished nations?

America is not the world's nursemaid. We don't have enough money to take care of the whole world. We spent $200 billion more on Ukraine than their neighbors in Europe did. The left's primary goal is to cause empathy for the "oppressed" and get you addicted to it like a drug. Empathy is not the same as compassion. The left are wolves in sheep's clothing.

If a person in your family and someone you don't know from a foreign country are both in the same dire situation and you could only help one of them would you help your family first or the person you don't know from the foreign country? Most likely the person in your family. However, according to the Democrats, if you believe in "America first" you are a racist. The Democrats clearly prioritize helping illegal immigrants and Ukrainians over our very own citizens.

Relying on the government to do the giving for you is not charity. They will waste tax money on other things you don't like. You could also give money to some random poor person you meet on the street and they may use it to buy drugs. As Walter Williams said “Reaching into someone else’s pocket to assist one’s fellow man hardly qualifies as charity.”

That comparison to a cult leader is good. The Trumpeters keep trying to put us all through a kind of EST with their bullying ruthlessness.

Another Douglas Adams quote comes to mind, though it was two philosophers, not an (R) and a (D):

Everyone's going to have their own theories about what answer I'm eventually going to come up with, and who better to capitalize on that media market than yourselves? So long as you can keep disagreeing with each other violently enough and maligning each other in the popular press, and so long as you have clever agents, you can keep yourselves on the gravy train for life...

...they turned on their heels and walked out of the door and into a lifestyle beyond their wildest dreams.

I like this, from Senator Slotkin, as well as her reminder to everyone that she, a Democrat, won Michigan along with Mr. Trump (maybe many people left the presidential ticket ballot section blank a la Mike S!)

America wants change,” she continued. “But there is a responsible way to make change, and a reckless way. And, we can make that change without forgetting who we are as a country, and as a democracy.”
