Joe, you're failing. Badly.

It may be unprecedented, but this is your mess to fix:

Biden needs a plan. Can't just pawn this off on Harris any longer. Is there anyone interested in being President who's willing to actually make the hard decisions?

The Alabama Senate passed a comprensive gaming bill tonight (lottery, casino style games, sports betting). The bill moves to a House committee for consideration.

I almost wonder if they poison pilled gambling in Alabama by rolling it all into one. I could see a lottery passing, but the opposition to sports betting and casinos might be too much to overcome and the politicians who don't want any gambling will get their way. I hope I am wrong.

It's kinda funny actually. Senator Del Marsh had a comprehensive gaming bill that failed about a month or so ago. Around the same time, Senator McLendon filed a straight lottery bill. Well, they basically gutted his lottery bill and included just about everything that Marsh had in his. It's almost like Marsh's bill came back from the dead under a new bill number. Anyway, word is the bill has some support. We will see what happens with the House. The Governor actually supports the legislation to allow the people to vote on it. I dare say she might even support the expansion of gaming in the state.

The media simply refusing to criticize a Dem in the white house is a big reason why people followed Trump as much as they did and didn't believe anything the news told them about him. There's so many examples from the last 3 months now that I could probably double the length of this thread with them, but the latest is from NBC this morning. Biden set a goal about % of schools being open after his first 100 days that was already met (the actual % was higher on his Day 1 than his stated goal), they've injected politics into the CDC's reopening guidelines that has made it tougher for schools to re-open fully, and now NBC gives credit to Biden for getting more schools open after his first 100 days.

That Cyber Ninja recount in Arizona is the biggest joke and farce I think I've ever seen around a political election

When you're insecure and paranoid... you focus on witch hunts against perceived non-loyalists instead of doing POTUS things

Why would the Biden Admin want to do away with the program to reduce insulin costs for lower income citizens?

Interesting that in the recent SCOTUS ruling on Obamacare that 2 of the 3 Trump appointees sided with the Pro Obamacare side and even staunchly conservative Thomas wasn't on the dissenting side either. Wonder if it will ever be challenged again.

Dude literally has a BMI of at least 40 yet he's out there saying "healthy people" like himself aren't a part of a "high-risk population for serious illness from COVID."

It's kind of ironic, being that a number of politicians in other states spent the last couple of weeks having arguments that only people with high BMIs should be vaccinated.

This is exactly the type of moron who will end up with a tube down his throat, and if he survives, he will say "If only someone had warned me, but I never heard anyone say that severe obesity is considered a health problem. I thought it just meant that I liked Mama's cooking a little too much. Why did Obama do this to me?"

Because this guy absolutely still lives with his mother if he's unmarried.

Don't worry Alabama taxpayers, it's not like we have to pay his treatment costs. Oh, he's a state employee you say, I guess we do then don't we? Owning the libs by forcing taxpayers to subsidize my unhealthy lifestyle and poor choices. It's like the Democrats and Republicans switched places overnight as it pertains to personal responsibility and the role of government.

Had a conversation the other day, where the other participant and I tried to come up with an example of something positive that came out of the pandemic, and other than work from home and less meetings, we couldn't think of much. Turns out I missed an obvious one: hypocrites continuously exposing themselves as massive hypocrites.

The government should definitely have to pay for my heroic life-saving treatment, but I'm going to be damned if I let them waste taxpayer money on a $28 dose of vaccine.
