I assume this is about guns? What a pathetic human being Beta O’Rourke is. Absolutely a worthless fool.
More of the right to own private, legally owned property but yeah those fall under that. It’s more of the precedent this would set.I assume this is about guns?
Imminent domain.More of the right to own private, legally owned property but yeah those fall under that. It’s more of the precedent this would set.
What politician thinks he has the right to force someone to sell their private property? This wouldn’t fall under eminent domain. It’s not going to be for public use.
Where does this stop? We want to combat climate change? Sorry, the government is forcing you to sell you legally bought and owned car. Wanna combat homelessness? Sorry, the forcing you to sell your house and they’re going to build multi family units and you’ll just have to deal with it.
I wish those were extreme examples but one of the 2020 candidates (Yang) DID actually propose a car buyback program. Not sure if it was mandatory as Beta’s program would be. But what would stop the government if the precedent is set for this?
That wouldn’t work as I previously stated in my response. What would be the public use in this case?Imminent domain.

But at this point, it honestly wouldn’t shock me if the next president shreds the Bill of Rights.
Embellishes the truth but the premise is true. Drunk driving, hit a truck traveling in the same direction & tried to flee but was stopped by a witness before doing so.
I think he finished off his run when he said he'd going after citizens AR-15s. That kind of thing only appeals to the far left (afaik) & gives the Republicans ammo to use against the Democrats. I don't see this guy being able to work across the isle but that's a big ask anyway. "It's my way or the highway" will continue as long as the filibuster is abused by both parties.
Anxiously awaiting to see Trump's forecast for Tropical Storm Humberto track and it's potential effect for Alabama
New York Times twitter had a rough week. First the 9/11 tweet and now this? Give me a break.
