Good lord. This man calls himself a friend to a murdering thug who has killed American citizens.
It almost sounds like he worships the ground Kim walks on or he is scared of him. Can you believe the Tea Party reaction of Obama had said the same things when he was in office?

Can you imagine the reaction of Republicans if Obama mocked Issa or Chaffetz for being the victim of a crime?

Awesome, white supremacist mass shooters are now hunting Hispanics. What a wonderfully toxic society to live in.

10 more killed overnight in a bar in Dayton, Ohio.

When are we going to:
A) Address white male domestic terrorism as an issue
B) Address our obsession with guns in this country

There is going to be a big push for gun control soon. I think it’ll be a pivotal issue for 2020 candidates.

It was a question of when, not if.

Shooter's manifesto said this:

"2nd and 3rde gneration Hispanics form interracial unions at much higher rates than average. Yet another reason to send them back."

Why does that seem so familiar? Why does that sound like we've heard it before? Seems indistinguishable from the chants at recent Trump rallies.

At some point and time, good people of this country are going to have to realize that the rhetoric being tolerated and/or promoted by Trump is having a disastrous effect on our country.

Also from the shooter's manifesto:

"My ideology has not changed for several years. My opinions on automation, immigration, and the rest
predate Trump and his campaign for president. I put
ting this here because some people will blame the
President or certain presidential candidates for the attack."

Why have so many of these shooters gone out of their way to say don't blame Trump? The New Zealand shooter made similar comments. Why is Trump so important to these shooters that one of their primary concerns is protecting him from blame? Especially considering the manifesto railed against politicians in other parts. And why say your opinions predate Trump and his campaign? Seems to be blatant acknowledgement that the shooter believes Trump and his campaign share the same racial hatred and supremacist rhetoric that forms his ideology.

If you go out of your way to try to protect a political thought leader from blame, yet tacitly acknowledge that you share a similar worldview with that leader, shouldn't we start questioning why that leader is inflaming our country with such hatred to begin with?

Go read 8chan, folks. They worship Trump there for the most part. Their criticism of him is that he's not extreme enough. Their posts make it clear, however, that they believe he's one of them, and they think he's on-board with their ideology.

I'm genuinely curious. When was the last time a terror group felt that POTUS was their ideological ally, and helped spread and defend the rhetoric they use?

Everyone needs to take a serious step back. This is so far from normal that I truly believe some people are not connecting the dots.

Trump has had ample opportunity to learn not to inflame tensions or promote chants, sayings, memes, ideas, or rhetoric that a lot of these hard-core white supremacist terrorists are using. He's been briefed by the FBI. He's got experts willing to show him and teach him how to avoid fomenting a lot of this rage and violent action. Yet even in the face of Charlottesville, his response was to say that there's many fine people on both sides.

I'm not pretending that Trump invented white supremacy, or that these mass shootings were the intended effect of his rhetoric and political tactics. No, the intended effect was to receive votes and win elections. But when people decide to murder people en masse instead, perhaps it's freaking time to tone it down a little bit, no? But he hasn't.

Trump could've responsibly handled the impact of his own political rhetoric and words on these disaffected losers, but he hasn't done any of the things experts have recommended that he do to mitigate harm.

Trump sure as hell didn't create evil people, racists, or people with mental illness -- but at what point do good people in this country say enough is enough, and point out that Trump's incendiary rhetoric is inciting and encouraging these types of people?

When will someone stand up to Trump? There can't be more than a couple of people here that think Trump has properly handled this crap. Because anyone with eyes knows that HE HAS NOT.

We should hope it's only a coincidence that Dayton is 54 minutes from Trump's rally a few days ago in Cincinnati. If last night's shooter ends up being yet another white supremacist, with a manifesto begging people not to blame Trump, it's going to be impossible to ignore how our current President has contributed to this atmosphere of hate.

And then you have this.

He knows what he's doing. He's always known. I'm tired of downplaying it so some people don't get their feelings hurt.

This is a feature -- it's not a bug. He's been told he's inciting violence, condoning it, and that his rhetoric is incendiary. He's been told these shooters and white supremacists groups pore over this speeches and rallies and see all this crap as being Trump's tacit approval of their actions and strategies.

It's time for us to stop giving him the benefit of the doubt. He hasn't deserved that since Charlottesville. George W. Bush would've never allowed or encouraged this kind of crap. This is a Trump thing, and I'm done with the excuses.

I’m not blaming video games. But there is something sadistic about getting extra points or “leveling up” for finishing off an opponent in a video game.

You’re right, but it’s completely unrelated to our shooting problem. Look at Japan, or England:
Pop. 65 million
Pop. 330 million (5x)

Video game revenues: ≈$5 billion
Video game revenues: ≈$25 billion (5x)

Gun homicides (2017): 31
Gun homicides (2017): 14,542 (469x)

So, I am blaming Barack Hussein Obama for every police officer killed the past ten years. His rhetoric is what started this crap!
