There also has been no proof given that he is actually under audit.
There also has been no proof given that he isn't actually under an audit. Come on lets play these games all day if you want but it will be a waste of everyone's time.

I think the burden of proof is on the person telling the story. If he wants to claim he is under audit, he needs to back it up. Trump has proven that we can’t take him at his word. He needs to stop playing games, like you said, and stop just running his mouth. There also has been no proof given that he isn't actually under an audit. It’s imperative to attack when somebody does what Trump is doing. He consistently lies and tricks. Not good for the office or country. We have to let future presidents know this won’t be tolerated.I just wish one day, this country will get back to talking about what is best for this country and a path forward instead of the right attacking the left and vice versa. It gets annoying.

These are far from baseless attacks.
the best path forward is to make sure a trump repeat doesn’t happen again.
Isn't that exactly what you attempted to do with the Obama documents until you were proven wrong? You are only making the issue worse. I will not go into a this for that battle with you. There is plenty of issues to go around for both sides. The country suffers for them all.

The problem is that both sides treat politics like a college football rivalry. Your team is always right and the opposing team is always wrong. While I don't like the idea that the left is always out to get Trump and says "black" every time anyone on the right says "white", my disappointment is far greater in those on the right who constantly defend him (the same folks who attacked and criticized him while he was running for office). My opinion of him today is nearly identical to the opinion that I held when the primaries were taking place - it shouldn't change just because he won the election. Using another sports analogy, it's like when Johnny Damon was traded from the Yankees to the Red Sox... one day, New Yorkers thought he was the scum of the earth - the next, he was the best thing since sliced bagels! While that may be appropriate in the world of sports, it shouldn't be in politics.Nope my attempt is to point out the hypocrisy of the left. Do as I say not as I do mentality that honestly both sides have.

Professor Turley makes some really valid points here. I believe he speaks impartially on the matter and doesn't defend Trump but also provided a way for Chairman Nadler to win with the courts to receive some documents. But he speaks a warning to Congress about impeaching the president they way they are going about it.
Of note, it's not just house subpoenas that Trump and his lawyers are dragging through the judiciary to buy as much time as possible. He's also defied Manhattan district attorney criminal prosecutors and grand jury subpoenas. His lawyers have been working their way through the lowest to the highest courts (on purpose) and have lost nearly every time.My point is this. All of this trying to frame someone is a waste of time. If there were actually a crime being commited, let the dang FBI investigate it. But that is not what is going on here. It is political grandstanding, a waste of time and a waste of tax payer dollars.

I have never seen our govt work so hard to issue statements on behalf of another govt. this is very sneaky and i don’t like it.
