Yes, they keep coming. Models have been indicating a lot of action. Gradual development expected with this one through the week, and possibly named by the end of it.
The long tracking tropical wave we’ve been watching is now labeled Invest 91L. It is forecast to become named, and make landfall in the northern Gulf Coast in the next few days.
I know we mainly talk about the Atlantic here but 1. the Atlantic is dead right now and 2. Lane in the Pacific seems like it could be a major problem for Hawaii soon, so I figured it merited a thread.
Off the coast of the Carolinas and looks to be an express storm to nowhere. Still good to knock the dust tropical system tracking skills.

Operational GFS has shown what could potentially be Bret for several runs now. It's been moving up in time, and there's a fair amount of ensemble support. Definitely an area, and way of development that is climatology favored.
