In the northwest Caribbean, and likely to impact the U.S.

Likely to become a storm.

Yes, they keep coming. Models have been indicating a lot of action. Gradual development expected with this one through the week, and possibly named by the end of it.

The long tracking tropical wave we’ve been watching is now labeled Invest 91L. It is forecast to become named, and make landfall in the northern Gulf Coast in the next few days.

Just off Africa’s coast, and will be named very soon.

I know we mainly talk about the Atlantic here but 1. the Atlantic is dead right now and 2. Lane in the Pacific seems like it could be a major problem for Hawaii soon, so I figured it merited a thread.

This is in the Caribbean, and will need to be watched very closely. The EURO, and NOGAPS have been developing it into a significant storm.

Operational GFS has shown what could potentially be Bret for several runs now. It's been moving up in time, and there's a fair amount of ensemble support. Definitely an area, and way of development that is climatology favored.
