Severe WX Severe Wx Outbreak March 1st- 3rd, 2023 - Southern States, MS/OH/TN Valley

Just to quickly insert my opinion, yeah there thumbnails are a tad sketchy including his wording for each event

However, you can't really call it clickbait since its almost exactly what he has in the video and he's always clear and right down to the point

It's also worth noting that he's done Fortnite streaming in the past, so his streaming style might be a tad alien to some in the weather community, but iirc he also was a TV met at one point. I trust his streaming, and his community discord server is ripe with people who have tons more common knowledge and can keep me up to date very quickly.

If you listen his guest episode on Weather Brains, he does admit to clickbait. His claim is based on he has to in order to get views due to Youtube’s algorithm. Which isn’t untrue, however I do not like weather hype. The community struggles enough attempting to convey clear and concise messaging to the general public without the conflicting hyperbole rampantly found on social media these days.

He will learn if enough people give him thumbs down lol

Don't see anyone mentioned it, but there is a Marginal Risk for Wednesday. Matt at WTVA thinks it could get upgraded for damaging wind potential. MS_swody3 (1).png

The models keep getting worse, but also better for Georgia. There's virtually no directional shear around 21z on the 18z GFS. Sounding is still popping mid-range tornado threat type though.

Latest run of the NAM showing some real eye catching parameters in Oklahoma and Texas as the system moves East. Anxious to see what Mississippi, Ark, LA, and AL look like when it gets in range.

I know it’s one model and one sounding though, I’ve just been so focused on this as a Dixie event only

Remember Jackson radar is still down until Friday. They usually finish these upgrades a few days early, so I except it be up and running by Thursday night.
Jackson/Brandon Radar is back online. For now.

The backing of the low level winds is just pure insane. If you get any isolated cells ahead of the line or even possibly embedded in it with the progressive line pushing ahead. Your still going to have southeasterly low level winds. The SHEAR is very high end. If storms can take advantage of it no telling how strong these storms/tornadoes could be.

It will likely not matter you'll have some intense tornadoes even in a broken line embedded supercell line.

If SPC goes with a Day 3 Moderate Risk tomorrow, it would be the first one for MS since March 22nd, 2022. Prior to that, the last 3 for MS occurred on: April 25th, 2014, April 26th, 2014, and April 25th, 2011. It's interesting to note that all the Day 3 Moderate Risks for the state of Mississippi have occurred since 2010. @JBishopwx

It is a possibility and somewhat likely now I feel…
