Many of them left Haiti years ago for Central and South America. Lost jobs during the pandemic + temporary US policy in July granting refuge to Haitians + social media instructions where to go to cross the border… they then came in groups.

I wish the govt would step in to help some of our supply chain issues. This admin has been inept.
I am so confused by this statement!

The govt isn’t doing anything to help. This administration is worthless.
You do realize your statement is an oxymoron right?

Virginia's election for Governor is on Tuesday, and there's been a huge shift in momentum over the last few weeks. Looks like the Republican has a legitimate chance to win the race here, as McAufflie's (D) campaign has been just one huge blunder after the other.

Worst thing going for the Republican candidate is Trump has decided to campaign for him on Monday. His odds of winning would be higher if mr. Ego could stay away, but he won't do it.

Then you have Dems putting fake Youngkin supporters dressed as Unite the Right rallygoers at his campaign stop in Charlottesville. Absolutely disgusting tactics...not shocked though. Democrats will stoop to nothing.

With 60% of the votes counted, Decision Desk has called the Virginia Governor's race for Youngkin (R).

Seems a little early of a call to me, but all across the board he's outperformed what was expected.

While there's plenty to make jokes about with Biden, I think it is moreso how far left the Dems as a whole have lurched over the last few years. I think a lot of that was masked because of Trump in the 2020 election.

The question is whether there will be any self-reflection between now and this time next year, or if they'll double down on the same things that caused Virginia to flip. If they do the latter, 2022 will be an absolute bloodbath.

I think it has more to do with their inability to unite their party and organize rather than their policies. The republican leadership does an amazing job getting the party to buy in and unite. The Dems are fractured. I tend to think it is largely due to the leadership style of pelosi.

Or because their policies are so far left that it becomes so hard to support them at any level of government.

It’s hard to even determine what their policies are. Although, generally democratic ideas are polling in the 60-70% range right now. It’s the individuals that are faltering.

Dems probably thought they could win on the economy. After all, Biden’s economic plan saved us a whopping 16 cents a few months ago! What more could people ask for?
