Severe WX Severe Threat 25 March 2021

Sounds like there's some serious comms problems in Newnan as a result of the tornado.
 
I will maintain what I've said in other threads over the past few years. One of the biggest failures of American government over the past 25 years is that we don't have triple (or more) the number of WSR-88D sites that we currently have
Preach! I'm 103 miles from my WFO, have two that are closer in other states. Completely in a radar hole from all, though.

Went to check the publicly available feeds and pretty much all of it was offline.

K4NRC repeater in Newnan is back online as of a few moments ago.
 
That's right through downtown.

Amateur radio seems reporting most damage seems to be south of downtown especially along and near Newnan High School.
 
What a beast! I have to say, the use of drones to film tornadoes in the southeast has been a godsend.
Remember when chasing in the deep south wasn't a thing? Sure is now, and drones are changing the game, as they get the clearest views of typical Dixie torndoes, which are usually haze-covered, tree obscured, low LCL wedges.
