Are you ok with the EO that has blanket inclusion of transgendered athletes participating in girls/womens sports? I'm not... persons who are genetically males should not compete as equals with athletes who are genetically females.

I also don't like Biden pulling the permit for Keystone

I don't really care that much about the transgender thing and will freely admit I didn't know anything about it as I was under the impression the only EO in that area related to the military.

Transgenderism typically relates to mental illness (in my opinion) but it's pretty obvious the chicken has already flown the coup even before the EO. I am not in favor of it now that I have read about it but I also don't think it will make a significant difference in how transgender athletes are participating in sports.

As for for Keystone, I'm generally against private companies using eminent domain to take land from landowners so I'm not too broken up over the situation. I'm not for or against the pipeline. I think it is a very narrow issue that way too many people on the right and left get worked up over.

Biden admin not doing a great job of listening to the science when it comes to schools and teachers returning to teach. Undermining the CDC Director was wrong when Trump's admin did it and it's even more wrong now because the Biden admin certainly *knows* better and rightly criticized Trump and his admin for playing politics with the CDC.

This kind of stuff has to end and it has to end now. Let the professionals do their job irrespective of what teachers unions or far-right loons prefer as an alternative.

Don't think they'll get $2.7B but Smartmatic has Rudy and Fox over the barrel on this one.

"The 285-page complaint filed Thursday in New York state court by Florida-based Smartmatic USA is one of the largest libel suits ever undertaken. On Jan. 25, a rival election-technology company — Dominion Voting Systems, which was also ensnared in Trump's baseless effort to overturn the election — sued Guiliani and Powell for $1.3 billion.

Unlike Dominion, whose technology was used in 24 states, Smartmatic's participation in the 2020 election was restricted to Los Angeles County, which votes heavily Democratic.

Smartmatic's limited role notwithstanding, Fox aired at least 13 reports falsely stating or implying the company had stolen the 2020 vote in cahoots with Venezuela's socialist government, according to the complaint. This alleged “disinformation campaign” continued even after then-Attorney General William Barr said the Department of Justice could find no evidence of widespread voter fraud."

For your clarification, transgenderism is a mental illness, so you're right

The Army put out new grooming standards for its soldiers. Curious about a paragraph that is in the article. Can someone shed light on this?

The new standards will also remove potentially offensive language used to describe hairstyles, such as “Mohawk, Fu Manchu, dreadlock, eccentric, and faddish,” replacing it with culturally appropriate terminology.

If somebody said your hair was eccentric or faddish, that’s just not nice. The other words involve cultural stereotypes.

So we no longer can call anything by its cultural stereotype anymore? When are we changing the name of the White House then. and Capital Hill. We can't offend Hills anymore.

You can call it whatever you want. Further, your examples are terrible.

You call it examples. I call it stupidity all around. And while my attempt to be funny may have bypassed you (which is cool) the fact is we can find anything to be offended by if we choose to. Don't call it a mullet anymore. The 80's teenagers will get offended. Oh wait nevermind they rocked it.

Rush Limbaugh passed today at age 70 due to lung cancer. I was an all in dittohead in the 90s and early 2000s and tried to listen to Rush every day during my lunch break. About 15 yrs ago, I decided to take my faith In Christ more seriously and when I did... I absolved myself from Rush's rhetoric and found him and his dogma to be in conflict with the tenets of my faith in Jesus. That being said I am sad to hear of his passing and hope the doctors were able to alleviate his pain and suffering. Rush was a true icon in conservative talk radio and paved the way for others like Hannity, Levin, and Beck who too have made their fortunes by airing their political opinions. Condolences to those in his family.

Ok that is funny. When are republicans understand they are under a different set of rules? I haven't seen AOC helping any citizens in New York during their issues with COVID, or Pelosi helping citizens of her state during their fire disasters.

They all should be helping out. But different rules for different spectrum of beliefs. Ted Cruz made a bad decision and will pay for it politically.

Dude, I’m not an AOC fan AT ALL, but she has raised millions for TEXAS!

Further, she has also raised millions for COVID relief in NY. You took a big swing and a miss here.
