He said in the last campaign that gun ownership is an important topic for his constituents in Vermont and he was representing their interests.

If he could just make sense on some other issues
 
First impressions from opening statements so far... Schiff laying down a factual perspective on the timeline of events from what is known so far following testimony.
Nunes laying down strong wording that vilifies everything about this process, particularly Democrats and their agenda.
Followed by ... Obstruction of the questioning process with very obvious attempts to make the process seem bogus.
One of these parties seems to be heavily defensive.

Agreed, the Republicans continue to want to make this a circus and for a large portion of the nation that is exactly what they want. However, I think there is also a large part of the nation that sees it as desperate behavior. Don't get me wrong the Democrats should have started this process in the open a while back but it is a lot like a close football game... it is all about clock management.

I just wish both sides would do what is best for the American People based on the Constitution of the United States.

Instead we get crap from both sides as partisan politics is being seen from both sides. If we are getting to have a third party I think that time is nearing. I just hope that it is a party that decides to follow the Constitution instead of their own wants. Our elected officials have gotten so far out of control.
 
I feel like senator Castro took the thoughts directly from my head and spoke them aloud. I was thinking that all this evidence of intent and without the fruition of extortion occuring seems like they're debating if attempted robbery is a crime if they didn't end up stealing anything. If you break into a house and leave because an alarm goes off, you're not free to go because nothing was stolen.

I think the real problem the democrats have is that, so far, they haven’t put forth any direct evidence. They need primary sources and witnesses such as Giuliani.

Of course, the administration is stonewalling the important testimony...

Interesting that while trump is tweeting at witnesses in the impeachment inquiry Stone was convicted of tampering.

I will agree with the statement by Caputo in the Article by CNBC, that you cannot receive a fair trial in DC as a conservative.

What was unfair about his trial? How in the world could Stone be called a “normal” American?

Caputo was asked to leave the courtroom today because he stood and turned his back to the jury.

The evidence was not on Stone’s side.

if they had the ability to implicate democrats they wouldn’t be charged. They’d be dead. That’s the small difference in corrupt democrats and corrupt republicans.

What he is talking about is that most people that reside in DC are liberal or democrats.
