I’m really hoping that Sessions decides to run against Jones just to see what the Trump folks do at the polls.
What will be even more interesting will be if Trump comes to campaign for him. Not that Sessions would need it because he’d wipe the floor with any Dem candidate.

These Volker and Sondland transcripts are BAD for Trump.

I keep hearing all this stuff that is bad for Trump, yet nothing happens. Its a process, sure, but since he was elected everything is "bad for Trump" and he's still in charge.

I'm still not sure he won't get reelected because the Democrats can't get out of their own way.

You are exactly right, and the American people are just as bad. How many read the Mueller report? How many have read these transcripts?

I haven't read the Mueller report and don't care to read the report. Nothing in that report will change how I feel about him.

But it can be the difference in you not liking him vs thinking he should be removed or impeached.

I definitely think all of his supporters should be reading these primary sources.

It still would not matter because I have no say whether or not he'll be impeached. Maybe indirectly through elections but lets keep in mind where I live. Though I voted for Doug Jones, I realize that was a fluke. He'll likely get beat. Shelby is there as long as he wants to be. Mo has lost his mind and so of course the people love him more and more for it. Plus, this will likely be wrapped up by the next election anyway.

Then we get to do it all over again if a Democrat wins the presidency because if the Republicans have any power left at all after next November they'll likely go after that POTUS out of spite.

I'm kind of over politics. It is just a game to everyone now.

I’m with you.

I know Mo Brooks is an idiot, but he is pretty good at bringing business to north alabamA.

I’m sure someone somewhere has already said this, but since I haven’t heard it, I’m claiming it as original;

More proof that Trump’s popularity continues to grow - over 100k people have bought tickets to attend a rally he’ll be holding in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

Might have record-breaking attendance!

Will the taxpayers of Tuscaloosa (myself) be picking up this tab? Or will the feds be billed? Genuinely curious...

Maddox said Trump's visit will cost the city an estimated $100,000 extra dollars beyond what would be required for a typical football Saturday. At times, Maddox said there will an additional 200 to 300 city employees – primarily police and fire – on duty "to ensure a round-the-clock safe and secure area for the president's arrival."

Those are usually paid out of the Campaign Budget.

Classy of Maddox to say. Used to be standard of folks to be this way but I’d say prolly since Clinton years its not the norm.

I have seen quite a few articles in the past where Trump or the Trump campaign have neglected to reimburse cities for the additional security. I won't link any articles, but a quick google of trump not paying for police will probably lead you to a conclusion on who will end up footing the bill.

First off if your going to through this out at Trump make sure you post about all the presidential candidates who didn't pay in a timely manner. Clinton, Obama, Bush, Kerry, Trump, McCain. Just to name a few.

I see no need to post that because I am 100% certain that none of the people you listed will be paying for the security in Tuscaloosa. Kory asked a direct question of who will be paying the bill and I provided evidence that points him toward an answer. Why would I bring up past presidential candidates when answering that question?

You mentioned Tuscaloosa no where in your post only that Trump had a history of not paying for Police. You don't want to talk about the others well because then Trump would look just like everyone else instead of the villain you want him to be.

You assume far too much about me. If you look at the VERY FIRST THING in my post, it is a quote of Kory's post. It's a very small post that says "Will the taxpayers of Tuscaloosa (myself) be picking up this tab? Or will the feds be billed? Genuinely curious... " So, I didn't mention "Tuscaloosa" in my post because I don't answer questions like a second grade student. I assumed the reader was able to comprehend that I addressed the question asked rather than some other random topic. Taking that approach one step farther, perhaps you would go through the effort to provide an answer with a long diatribe about who would have paid if some other random dignitary had come into town, but I answered it based on past performance relative to the person he was inquiring about.
