Zero credibility. What else are they being misleading about?

I posted this yesterday hoping to see if someone would catch it. ABC knowingly and willingly used a video from a Kentucky gun range to push a false narrative. Fake news!

Several of the questions you asked are actually answered in the articles you posted.

I know you don't like it, but at the end of the day you're going to have to come to grips with the fact that this situation isn't going away. Either Trump did something improper and impeachable or he didn't.

No one but hardcore partisans believe Trump's spin that his phonecall was "perfect" or his attacks on the whistleblower. We now have testimony from a couple of significant witnesses that backup the whistleblower's claims, as do the documents showing text messages between various members of the State Department.

The American people want to know whether or not Trump conditioned sending previously appropriated funds for Ukraine's military on Ukraine opening up an investigation into a political opponent. The DoD believed the White House was illegally withholding the funds. Bill Taylor clearly had issues with it as well. Trump's own ICIG and numerous members of his own NSC were also quite bothered by the situation.

Events have already been set in motion and things are too far gone for Trump to stonewall this. Either he answers the questions and requests being made as part of the impeachment inquiry, or he's also going to face an obstruction article. You're more than welcome to continue to scream about the whistleblower and Schiff, but none of this is in their hands anymore. It's for the American people to decide, and polling shows that a majority of Americans want Congress to get to the bottom of this, and if Trump acted corruptly they want him impeached. Nothing you can say will change those facts. Adam Schiff and the whistleblower don't decide Trump's fate. We do.

Of course the answers are in the articles posted. The Constitution says impeachment shall be handled by the House. Not one party and not just 5-6 committee chairman. Why is the Intel committee handling ? Why in secret ? Why are Republicans excluded and not allowed subpoena power ?

Complaint made August 12. Made public September 26. We can debate why the delay. I argue if it is so important and damning Dems would have put out ASAP.
Schiff lied about contact with WB prior to complaint being made public. This we know.
Schiff lied in a committee hearing about the conversation. Schiff admitted so.
WB is a registered Dem. (ICIG)
WB has possible political bias (ICIG)
WB had a working relationship with Biden. (ICIG)
Schiff hired two staff from NSC that had a working relationship with WB. It's public record. Byron York is not a politically motivated reporter.

The fact Schiff has lied about the WB and there are so many "coincidences" leads me to believe this entire mess is concocted. And that is a reasonable conclusion.
Trump has been pounding Biden and his son about corruption. I believe this impeachment is an attempt to get Biden and his corruption out of the headlines. It is all part of the insurance policy. There is no due process and a lack of fundamental fairness to the president. And don't give me this crap he gets his during the trial. Until that time the electorate is poisoned because we all know the media loves Trump.

Evan, we have the transcript and with holding of aid is not mentioned. The president of Ukraine himself said he was not aware of that threat.

Project Veritas expose on CNN part 1. I can only imagine what lies ahead if this is just the first video.

It would have helped had you told us what the video was about. You post a lot of info at a rapid fire speed (much like that video actually). Please help us all out and post more descriptive details of what you are talking about. Even watching the video I didn't know what it was about until I opened up Youtube and read down into the comments. Help us.. help you.. PLEASE!

James O'Keefe is basically a citizen journalist. He does the job most of the media used to do.

To some right wing folks, James O'Keefe is "a citizen journalist". To many others, he is a "conservative political activist" who has participated in some not-so-honest "journalism". Here is the wikipedia article on O'Keefe:

He exposes the hypocrisy of the left and they cannot stand it. Do you remember he exposed Planned Parenthood for selling baby parts ?

I'm not going to argue with you. If you believe doctoring videos to support your political agenda and breaking and entering is being a "citizen journalist" and doing "the job most of the media used to do", that's fine. I wouldn't expect otherwise. Personally, I believe most of the media used to perform to a higher standard than that.

His videos are not doctored to say something different than what is actually recorded. He edits because of the length of the videos. CNN being exposed as the scum they are **Edited by an Admin**.

**Admin Note: This post has been edited to remove a personal attack against another member.

Greetings all.

In the past few weeks a few people have reached out about how toxic our political forum has become. I normally don't hang out in the thread very often so I've spent a bit more time here over the last few days and I can totally see where they are coming from. So let's take a moment to get a few things clear.

First, TalkWeather has NEVER been a place that condones personal attacks. I see a lot of members flirting with posts that could be construed as personal attacks. There is a lot of grey area in this subject but here is the bottom line, if you feel you have been a victim of a personal attack hit the report button. Those reports come to the admin group and we discuss them as a group. I think we have been really good at being neutral and not letting our personal biases dictate decisions. A few of you here can attest that we normally follow up with private messages and talk about why we made the decision we made. Which brings up another point that I'd like to drive home... this isn't a left or right forum. While I've never polled the admin or mod team, I feel we are made up of a pretty diverse crew and we don't make decisions to impact on set of users over another.

Second, the descriptive links policy is here to stay so get in the habit of being descriptive. I come to this forum to read about what is happening in the weather and the world. This isn't facebook or twitter where you just post a link with no real information as to why it is relative to the subject matter at hand. We've enabled a feature to help show a preview of links but it doesn't work on all sites and we are counting on the fact that if you think something is important enough to post, you should be able to tell us why. You are the advocate for the information you post and you should be trying to sell us on seeing your viewpoint. Not just throwing random information at us.

Finally some friendly advice. I love that people are passionate about what they believe in. The ability to show that passion, no matter what it is, is one of the cornerstones of makes America great. However, I firmly believe that there is such a thing as defending your passions and beliefs in a responsible way. Here at TalkWeather that means taking care to defend what you say with facts while being civil. In the online world it is easy to just type out whatever snarky response you want, but I feel that we are better than that. Before you respond just simply ask yourself, would you reply the same way if the person was sitting at a table with you in a coffee shop. All I'm asking is that you post your opinions and discuss how they are different but don't attack another person for how they feel or think. Agree to disagree and move on. Just remember that TalkWeather is a privately owned entity and my intent is to keep the discussion on this forum informative, constructive and civil. If you are someone that doesn't which to adhere to that mission, don't expect to stick around very long.

Thanks,
Wes

Imagine having ZERO, and I mean ZERO, self awareness. Wounded Knee massacre occurred because of a botched attempt to disarm Natives by the U.S. government. That is precisely the policies they’re advocating for. Not to mention, our government has a long history of mass murder.

My goodness, how freakin dense can people be?

Very interesting debate.
I'm not sure how Klobuchar is about to vibrate so much while speaking though. Just watch the ear rings and hair o_O

Donald Trump’s current personal arttorney is under federal investigation. Don’t get this confused with his former personal attorney who was under federal investigation.

I'll tell ya the one thing I don't like about the the impeachment process so far is that it that the house hasn't had a vote to really make it legit. @Matt hit on that a few days ago. I think it is time to dot the i's and cross the t's. Furthermore, I think the dems will be surprised with how much support they get from the republicans. I think people are getting tired of this Presidential Circus.

I hope you are right. I would love for the Republicans to show allegiance to their platform and ideals rather than the President. I will not vote for/support any candidate that has become a Trump defender.
