Pretty insane find of the Mayfield tornado passing north of this man's house near Eddy Bay, KY. The freight train is loud and audible at around 9-10 minute in. Shocked it hasn't more views.

I just ran across some damage photos on eBay for a tornado that happened near Van Wert, Ohio, on March 9, 1918. The damage looks pretty significant (a house leveled and swept away, others unroofed or partly collapsed), but Grazulis somehow missed it, and it's not on Tornado Archive. Lots of newspaper clippings on local history Facebook pages, though. Poor Van Wert.

Honestly, this is up there with the Hackleburg/Phil Campbell footage where the tornado passed close to a house. The constant roar throughout this video is insane.

And the tornado was only at EF3-EF4 intensity as this was recorded. The lightning show along with it just makes it so intense to watch. The trees even violently sway too if you look closely. I'm not sure if you can see the tornado in this at all
