We have a lot of good teams playing fundamental football but I don't know about elite.

Right now, Clemson winning the ACC and winner of the SEC seem like locks. ND drops one, they're out (watch out for Northwestern they're playing good ball as of late). Pac 12 is out. Big 10...maybe Michigan..no way in hell OSU gets in even if they win? Big 12 still needs some sorting out. The last 2 spots in the playoff are fully up for grabs...in my opinion.

If Notre Dame drops a game, that will open the door for POTENTIALLY two SEC teams. However likely that is, I can't tell you.

I'm hoping Ohio State gets fully exposed like the frauds they are in November because just the Purdue loss may be enough to keep them afloat, but I've been through this cycle enough to know they could very well drunkenly stumble their way into the Big 10 title and the playoff picture in December. If MSU, Michigan, or even better Nebraska can beat them (And I don't think that's impossible.. Nebraska has finally found their identity as a team), that would be wonderful.

In the ideal scenario, Notre Dame loses a game or two, whoever represents the Big Ten west wins the conference, and nobody from the Big 12 makes it out with less than two losses.

I'd be SHOCKED if we lost before the playoffs but anything is possible, but as of now I think its us, Clemson, Notre Dame, and maybe Oklahoma or Michigan.

I will say Clemson looks like they have the tools to go blow for blow with us. That freshman QB is coming into his own and they have an elite defense and running game.. they frankly look like how we would have looked last year if we inserted Tua into the lineup in October when it became apparent he was the better QB.

Michigan could be a threat as well.. Oklahoma would have to hope and pray our defense just becomes incompetent and Georgia has revenge on their minds and a coach who knows how to beat us and almost did.

How crazy is it that Kentucky controls their own destiny for the division crown in November? In football.

Odd stat about LSU's Joe Burrow. I've heard a lot about how LSU finally has a QB, etc.

Statistically (passer rating and yards per attempt), he's having the worst season of any LSU QB since Jordan Jefferson's 2010 season.

I certainly don't think that tells the whole story, he's a gritty player that's made big plays when his team needed him to, I just expected his stats to reflect the LSU optimism about him a little more than they do.

He's not good. He literally looks like Danny Etling back there.

That was what surprised me in the stats a little bit

Passer Rating
2017 - 152.98 - Danny Etling
2016 - 135.54 - Danny Etling
2018 - 118.16 - Joe Burrow

Yards per Attempt
2017 - 9.0 - Danny Etling
2016 - 7.9 - Danny Etling
2018 - 6.9 - Joe Burrow

Exactly.. he's not good. He's had several games where's he's completed less than 50% of his passes, and his accuracy has never really been there. Unless he pulls a Steven Garcia against us, he will be a nonfactor.

45-17 Bama.

I wish I had the guts to say Kentucky is going to beat Georgia, but I think the Bulldogs figure out a way to win.

Kentucky feels like one of those teams of destiny and Georgia has been exposed a few times. I don't know if they'll outright win, but I think this comes down to the final couple minutes.

Kentucky is a hot QB away from being in national title contention. That team's roster is LOADED

Re:KY

If they make it to Atlanta, will they stand a chance against us? No, it will be a bloodbath. But I think they can at least make it there if the pieces fall their way tomorrow.

I'm over this disrespect this Alabama team has gotten. "The SEC reffing office is in Birmingham." "Nick Saban cheats." "Who have they played?" "They didn't even win their division last year."

Nick, please do NOT let off the gas. I want LSU players and their fans to be looking at each other in the 3rd, down 4 touchdowns, reconsidering their statements about this team.

How dare they diminish the hard work of Saban and the players?

Have some friends down in Baton Rouge who have had balloons filled with urine thrown at them. Absolute trash resides in Baton Rouge and that wretched God forsaken anal abscess called Louisiana.

Gosh darn I hate that state and school so much.

Auburn came back from 10 down to beat Texas A&M in the final minutes of the 4th quarter. Maybe the Tigers won’t have to play in the Birmingham Bowl.

Slow start for the Crimson Tide in Baton Rouge. Bama missed an extra point.

I wonder if Tua will play in the 4th Quarter tonight? Although Bama only has 16 points, the LSU Offense can’t get anything going tonight.

Bama Bama Bama....Bama may/may not beat UGA in Atlanta but I think it is totally crap that CBS already said that Bama can lose and still be in the playoff/final 4:mad: If UGA beats Bama why does Bama still go??
