Severe WX Severe Weather 4/24-4/26

It's quite clear that there is a significant tornado on the ground.
I see nothing that shows a significant tornado right now. No TDS whatsoever. Is it a ridiculously strong storm with 80+ and baseballs? Heck yea. Even the warning says radar indicated rotation only. They're upping this because of the danger to a ton of people.

it doesn't make any sense to call it "radar confirmed" when there's nothing on radar indicating that it's on the ground. idk what their thinking is here. like if somebody on the ground had eyes on it then fair enough, but the radar signature isn't convincing.

I literally JUST explained why there’s no conclusive evidence of that yet, and others mentioned the Hollister example as well. It could be weak, it could be strong. It’s not clear cut like Enid was and the CC drop was small and shallow. Nothing to indicate “cataclysm”.

Sometimes it’s a good idea to take a step back and consider when multiple people are telling you the same thing. Just saying.

It's not though, both warnings say radar indicated, not confirmed. Unless they updated it and I missed it. But as of now both say that.

That very intense gust front and massive RFD surge pushed the outflow well ahead of the meso, certainly came close to a major problem but that meso was never going to survive long embedded that far behind the outflow; wind and hail still gonna be a huge issue for that area tho. Might even get a new meso closer to the inflow region

Storm has sort've folded in on itself over the past 10 minutes or so. Optimally, it'll die out, though it would still pose some absolutely whopper straight-line winds. It could also easily re-organize, especially if different segments of the storm have constructive interactions. Very interesting, metamorphosing supercell storm.
