Couplet is intense, even extreme, but still not much of a CC drop.

Don't get me wrong, it's definitely there, and there is a tornado on the ground. Best case scenario is that the unimpressive debris signature is more representative of the tornado's intensity than the couplet. Worst case scenario is that there's a significant TOG, and the signature is unimpressive because the cell is a HP mess.

Let’s hope this is a similar situation to that one Oklahoma tornado from two years ago (believe it was Hollister) where the GTG and Vrot were absolutely off the charts, but the tornado that came from it was much weaker and lower impact than that.

This storm is super Hollister-esque. We could have the worlds weakest tornado deep in that murky heap. Wouldn't completely write it off though...

I'm sincerely praying that you're right and this monstrous supercell's bark is far worse than its bite!

If there is an intense to violent tornado with this, I think we’re going to see a massive CC drop with it. Just mapped the area and there’s a ton of homes and other structures in the path of this.

Seems like the inflow is starting to choke itself off, and it'll either try and cycle its meso again or become outflow dominant.

The issue is that it is super rain wrapped which actually makes TDSes less defined on radar. We don't know a whole lot about what is on the ground unfortunately.

It's quite clear that there is a significant tornado on the ground.

which is strange to me because if anything the velocity signature has broadened out and there's only a weak CC drop there. not what you'd expect to see from an ongoing strong tornado.
